Wimbledon Open 2010
Congrats to world no.2 & 2nd seed Rafael Nadal of Spain by beating world no. 13 & 12th seed Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic (6-3, 7-5, 6-4) in tennis Wimbledon 2010 men's singles final. Thanks to 6th time Wimbledon champion & world no. 1 Roger Federer of Switzerland bowed out in quarter-final lost to Tomas. With a Grand Slam win at Wimbledon, Nadal returned his status to be world no. 1 again and his 2nd Wimbledon & 10th Grand Slam title.
In men's doubles, unseeded Jurgen Melzer (Austria)/Philipp Petzschner (Germany) beat 16th seed Robert Lindstedt (Sweden)/Horia Tecau (Romania) 6-1, 7-5, 7-5.
In women's singles, world no.1 & top seed Serena Williams of USA defeated world no.21 & 21st seed Vera Zvonareva of Russia 6-3, 6-2. Congrats to Serena for winning her 4th Wimbledon & 13th Grand Slam title.
In women's doubles, unseeded Vania King (USA)/Yaroslava Shvedova (Kazakhstan) defeated unseeded Elena Vesnina/Vera Zvonareva (Russia) 7-6 (6), 6-2.
